Danny’s paintings and markings illustrate the atmosphere and energy of a moment, whilst simultaneously occupying a paradoxical state of unfolding time. Using varying techniques such as staining, charring, scoring, as well as brush strokes, as entry points to his work.

Inspired by the concept of Intra-action, understanding agency as not an inherent property of an individual or human to be exercised, but as a dynamism of forces, in which all designated ‘things’ are constantly exchanging and diffracting, influencing and working inseparably.
